During a recent missions trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo to install a purifier system at the Rwankole Hospital in Bunia, we discovered they were operating without electricity and water. Can you imagine that?
Currently, they are forced to use a manual guzzler pump and 50 feet of hose from a cistern in order to fill the new purifier system which we’ve just installed. With your help, we would like to replace the old, obsolete pump with a new gas powered one for about $2,000. This will allow the hospital to fill an upper tank which will feed not only the purifier system but will ultimately provide clean water and plumbing for the entire facility.
