Who We Are
In 2002 Barry Hart and Heather Alloway, both retired teachers, heard a presentation about the desperate world water needs.
The story went from their heads to their hearts. Within a year, they were with a team drilling a well in a poor village in Guatemala. From that experience, they founded LWI Canada which is now known as Water Ambassadors Canada.
Water Ambassadors Canada is a faith based, non profit registered Canadian charity. We take Canadian teams to drill/repair wells, set up water purification systems, distribute water filters and teach health and hygiene.
Since then, over 60 teams from across Canada have travelled to Central America, the Caribbean and The Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa to help provide clean water.

MISSION
Water Ambassadors Canada’s Mission is to respond to the global need for clean water and reach the desperately poor people in developing countries in the name of Jesus Christ. We work together with Canadians and our international contacts to change lives with clean water.
VISION
Water Ambassadors Canada’s Vision is to encourage those who are blessed with so much to reach out in love and with compassion to those in need and transform their reality with clean water, health, hygiene and healing.
Core Values
WAC is a Christ centered ministry. We follow the example of Jesus to serve others and to redeem and restore people to God.
We believe that all people are valuable and equal before God. Although we work with churches and faith based agencies, all our projects are open to all people regardless of beliefs.
Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds.
